Arena Theatre Company is committed to ensuring that people from all backgrounds can be an active part of Arena, as artists, staff and audience members.

Arena seeks to lead when it comes to the accessibility of our productions, theatre experiences and our printed and digital materials. As a theatre company we aim to represent our diverse community, and make sure that we are accessible and inclusive of all.

We are committed to reducing barriers to access, and pushing for diversity and cultural equity in everything we do. We work hard to improve representation, cultural safety and accessibility and inclusivity of First Peoples, d/Deaf and disabled people, CALD and LGBTQIA+ communities.

A part of this is creating our Equity and Action Plan that will be reviewed and updated annually. It has been developed as part of the Fair Play program with the support of Creative Victoria.
