Like many arts organisations we achieve huge things with very little, with a small core team of five staff. Our headquarters is a busy hub of activity with our workforce expanding to upwards of 20 people when projects are in full swing. Working for Arena, you can expect great conversations about art and ideas, the opportunity to grow professionally and expand your networks, and a friendly and flexible working environment. Available positions are listed below.

Bendigo artists – We want to hear from you!
Arena has recently moved to Bendigo and is committed to working with local artists from Bendigo and the surrounding region.
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from performers, writers, production designers, lighting designers, sound designers, composers, digital artists, production managers, stage managers, set builders, costume makers, photographers and school workshop facilitators.
We don’t hold open auditions but do keep CVs and headshots sent to us on file. If you’d like to work with Arena as a performer, please consider inviting Arena to productions you are performing in – your work is the best means of showcasing your skills to us.
When possible Arena takes on volunteers to assist on our productions and be involved in the ongoing work of the company. Volunteers can gain experience in arts administration, event planning, marketing, creative development and website management. Volunteers are supported and encouraged to learn new skills, develop industry contacts and have fun.
